Hello Everybody;

It's been a few months since the last Rumberos email. My extended time with the Dirty Dancing musical production has come to a successful conclusion following an eighteen month adventure. Much love to all you beautiful people that I met at the Royal Alex.

Thank you to all the participants of the annual Cuban Drumming Retreat - I'm sure all who travelled would agree was a great trip. You guys seriously rocked!

Luis Mario Ochoa Quintet

As part of the TD Canada Trust Downtown Jazz festival, Cuban guitarist, vocalist and composer Luis Mario Ochoa brings his all star quintet to Lula. Featuring Hilario Duran on piano, Paco Luviano on bass with Chendy Leon and Joaquin Nunez on percussion.

This will be the Luis Mario Ochoa Quintet's final Toronto engagement before launching a National Tour this summer. Check rumberos.ca/performances for the full schedule.

- Drum Circles -

The final Drum Circle led by Joaquin takes place on Saturday June 13th at 10:30 am. Bring your drum or borrow one of ours!!
